Most cybersecurity training programs are designed to be broad enough for everyone. That is exactly why they often fail the people operating inside high-exposure finance workflows. A treasury professional does not face the same cyber risk as an external auditor. A compliance officer does not work under the same pressure points as a payroll specialist, financial controller, or advisor.
Yet many organisations still assign the same flat awareness content across all of them. That may support completion metrics, but it does not create role-aware judgment. It creates a false sense of readiness.
The gap we are solving
Generic awareness training rarely reflects what finance professionals actually approve, review, reconcile, store, communicate, defend, or escalate. RoleSec was built to close that gap by aligning cybersecurity education more closely with the real structure of finance work.
Built from a technical background, shaped by a clear market failure.
RoleSec was founded by an Electrical and Electronics Engineer who is currently pursuing a Master’s in Data Science. The platform emerged from a simple but recurring observation: cybersecurity training in the market was rarely built around the actual responsibilities of specific finance roles.
The wrong training model
Across finance functions, professionals were expected to operate securely inside high-risk workflows while being assigned generic, repetitive training that did not reflect how their roles actually worked.
The structural mismatch
Approval chains, reporting pressure, sensitive documentation, stakeholder communication, fraud exposure, and internal control environments were often missing from the learning experience entirely.

RoleSec was created to address that mismatch directly by structuring cybersecurity training around the responsibilities that actually generate cyber exposure inside finance environments.
